I remotely support several servers and the way I access them is via a web browser .

"Citrix Web Interface" for Presentation server 4.0.

The Problem - After I print from a local application to our network and network printer(not the customers), I get the following error in the remote Servers event log

Event Type:Error
Event Source:TermServDevices
Event Category:None
Event ID:1111
Date:1/9/2007
Time:8:42:55 AM
User:N/A
Computer:server22
Description:
Driver Citrix Universal Printer required for printer Sales on server ( in session 25 is unknown. Contact the administrator to install the driver before you log in again.

Now I dont have any other Citrix software loaded for printing. I only have the Citrix software that was required to remotel log in via a web browser

The Citrix box needs a copy of the printer driver for the local printer that you're using. A quick workaround is to "install" the printer locally on the Citrix box pointing to LPT1 -- just don't try to run a test page. Then delete the printer. If it asks you if you want to delete the drivers, answer 'No'. You should now have the printer available properly in ICA sessions.

Note to Citrix gurus: Yes, I know, this isn't the "Citrix Way" but it will work.

Have you gone to Citrix? Sometimes a drive becomes invalid due to a server update or change. Has the server gone offline unexpectedly? You might need to reset the printer sequences. Did you have a problem a couple of days ago or do you randomly print from this printer?

you will desire to start up the consultation formerly you output something to the browser. maximum suitable prepare to place it on your first line of code (additionally formerly any HTML, even a single area formerly the very own homestead page open tag counts as output!) i don't understand why it runs fantastic on your community server, yet that's what's happening.

Sounds like the remote server spooler has stopped is gone "screwey".
Also, you might want to reinstall the ICA client.
