What is the % of car accidents cause by drinking ????What percent of abuse in america or the world is it caused by drinking booz ? Is it time to bann drinking and teach people how to act and what not to do?

Wouldn't surprise me if statistics showed it did. Alcohol is the devils' poison - fact. If alcohol was invented today, it would be considered an illicit substance (from Aussie studies anyway).
There are many reasons/substance usages that result in bad behaviour, but alcohol is a major contender...I've drank and taken drugs separately many times and have gotten into more trouble via booze than anything else.
Unfortunately it is so socially acceptable, it is difficult to ban.
Teaching people how to act and what not to do relies on perception and responsibility - irrospective of drinking.

I think it's time to teach people to be more responsible on the road, instead. Why not be more rigorous about driving responsibilities? Instead of handing out driver's licenses to everybody 16 and over?
Germany has some of the most thorough driving schools around. I don't know how many drunk driving cases there are compared to here...

There are equally other factors, such as smoking and drug-taking, which contribute to more or less similar deaths!
