I do something differnt than most peopel, I look on youtube for various and perhaps live or rare performances of songs. I use audio grabber software to capture the audio and make it an mp3. There is software to grab the youtube file and make it an avi or mpeg file, so you can have the video as well.

while it seems like work, you will have the most unique versions of songs that you couldn't even pay for and they are free!

limewire is a great source for song downloads and they are completely free unless you want limewire pro which is a better version that you would have to pay for.
