DOES anyone have alltel service?

im having hardcore problems with my text messaging and ive called them and they said they've fixed it but it still doesnt work ( i got unlimited texting) but it doesnt work half the time..does anyone else have this problem with ALLTEL

Alot of things with Alltel's service depends on what kind of phone you have. If you have an audiovox, LG or Kyocera your signal strength will never ever be as good as with a motorola(also less problems texting). There is a blue motorola the v262 and the black one with a camera the v265 that are not the best choice motorolas. You need to have a v710, e815 or a razr. The new razrs have little to no problems. They realeased a new one a month or two ago the V3M instead of the V3C. Your signal will be better with these phones as well as your text and picture messaging will process much much faster. In reguards to your texting. You need to call tech support 1800alltel1 option 3. then you enter your phone number and then immediatly press 0# to take you to a tech rep. Explain what is going on with your text. There is a code that may need to be on your account. Also for reception try *228 and follow the prompts to update your phones roaming service.
