If you are talking about your boyfriend, it's because he is gay. If he wasn't, he'd be comfortable and very eager. Chances are he is nervous and gay. I am being serious when I say this. If you are in denial, suggest to him that you have a threesome with another guy. When he says yes, you'll know.

This doesn't sound like any std symptoms. He may be having some trouble with his prostate (the gland that causes erections), or he could have a narrow eurethra. Suggest a visit to the doctor to see if there is a physical problem, It won't hurt, and could end your anxiety over this.

Could be caused by a number of different things. Diabetes, STD, mental problems, other physical problems. See a good uroligist.

Many men suffer from erectile dysfunction (ED) -- the inability to achieve and sustain an erection long enough to have enjoyable and fulfilling sex. For a variety of reasons ED is most common in men over 45. The sex drive is often lowered even further in older men who are taking medications of various kinds.
Most of us assume the sex drive gradually diminishes as we get older, so we are prepared to accept ED as a natural condition. But the fact is, the inability for many men to sustain an erection may be more the result of treatable physical conditions rather than an actual loss of sex drive.
Until the early 1980s most people -- including most trained urologists -- assumed that ED was basically a mental or psychological problem. But in 1983 at a presentation to the American Urological Association, Dr. Gilbert M demonstrated that a penis could be made erect by injecting it with the drug phentolamine. In a public demonstration, he used his own penis to make the point.
Gil had discovered that the penis could be made erect by relaxing the normally constricted blood vessels leading into it. Once the blood vessels are relaxed, they let in more blood and the penis inflates something like a balloon to form an erection.

All men of all ages have this when several things occur.
Aren't really relaxed enough.
Don't feel comfortable with partner.
Affraid of getting caught.
Worked out too hard earlier
It can go on and on with reasons. The main thing is that you and he want to postpone more sexual attempts until he's sure that he's feeling up to it. Let him choose when and where and with WHOM.

You need a lot more information to make a reasonable guess. Did you watch "Supersize me"? Spurlock's girlfriend said that 30 days on McDonalds about did him in. Blood pressure? Medications? Many things work together, and if they aren't you aren't.

Woah...CALM DOWN! Lets not just jump to hasty assumptions, sheesh!
Nerves are usually the culprit...lack of sleep, anxiety, stress, brain overload from work, school, etc....
If you are this sure he has some "disease", then maybe you have bigger problems than his inability to perform....do ya trust him at all? How about asking.....HIM!
Just a thought...

He could have a disease or has done way too many drugs. Glad I don't have those problems.
