Of course we all are. If someone says they are not ask them if they have ever used the word ni gg er, wop, ch ink, cr acker,
sp ic, etc. everyone has. It is just a matter of you being afraid of what other peopleare going to think about what you said/say . I personally do not care. I say what is on my mind whether it hurts someones feelings or not. The truth hurts sometimes.

Disagree mostly although I admit I do discriminate in making choices on what is acceptable or not acceptable to me personally as most people do.
However I would not agree that all people are racist - a lot of people are to our detriment; I believe this plays a small part in wars and conflict between the different cultures.
Such a shame because life would be so much more enjoyable if we all got on and respected each other despite our different beliefs and cultures.

Yeah, I will answer this one. I believe society dictates that if I harbor racist views that I must rid myself of these, laws have been created so that one must comply. it is mumbled that I must build tolerance and gain as understanding and trust to stand down when those tolerances are breached. And so I try,it really is a test on the will power to not be. The other day my space was breached by person of another race and brushed it off as him being a nut-case. To answer your question, Yes, to a certain degree in all of us. it is only because of the old issues that surface from time to time that needs to fade away.

No.I am not a bit racist and I am not Lying and resent being called one.(previous answer).Niether do I think my own race inferior.(another previous answer).I don't feel the unfounded fear towards people from different races that racists do feel.It simply does not make sense to me to hold pre-concieved views about others based on the colour of their skin because i could not justify it.I could never imagine that I am superior to others.I think that is a disgraceful way to think.

If everyone were honest about it, I think it is true.
I try not to be, and if I have what I think is a racist thought I remember people from that person's group who were not a stereotype and make a brain readjustment.

i think everyone is likely to make derogatery sterotypes about a given race/group/society/culture but I dont think it can all be classed as racism.
I'd like to consider myself not to be racist though I like to consider that everyone has the right to be themself and then judge each person on their individual actions and then if you dont like them or whatever its not really racism its desliking their personality. This can often be taken wrongly especially if it is a white person dislikign a person of another race which i dont think is fair

if not racist, definitely people have prejudices that were formed as a result of experiences and maybe even from influences when growing up. prejudices are not static, but do change overtime, by either gaining intensity or being replaced by prejudices for others.

No. You can make the argument that all people are prejudiced in some way, but racism is the belief that one race is superior to another, and thusly acting on that belief.

there is a difference between being a racist and having prejudice.
Yes, most people have prejudices about groups other than their own and the dominant group.
Being racist describes a postion of power - ie the dominant group are the ones who are racist - ie their prejudical views can detrimentally affect the life experiences of less powerful groups.
Which one are you?
