well i use eucerine and sometimes nivea because when my baby was first born we found out she had eczema and the doctor gave her elidel but then about 2 or 3 months later they came up with this little doctor rule that children under the age of1 could not use elidel anymore which meant the only thing that worked for her skin could not be prescribed no more so i started doing research to find something that will work just as good for the time being and a few people suggested eucerine well i have really dry skin so in the process of treating her i would lotion down with it too it not only does it stop your skin from getting dry and itchy it locks in moisture for the winter weather and it makes your skin soft and nivea has most of the same moisturizers in it and i just thought if it works for eczema imagine what it will do for us besides it kind of repairs the skin at the same time try it I'm not sure where your from but if you have a rite-aid,cvs,eckerd they are cheaper in the drug stores.Take care and good luck

I have worked in a pharmacy for a few years and one of the main ingredients in pharmacy products used for burns(sun or burn from oven or stove), dry skin and eczema is Eurcin Cream. It can be found in any lotion and cream aisle of most stores like K-mart, Shopko, Walgreen's and even Walmart and it's not very expensive. Even when compounding(mixing two or more ingredients together to get a type of medication; most creams in pharmacy are compounded) usually the first ingredient is Eurcin Cream. They have made a few different types and it comes in lots of diffrent sizes. I have one of calming and one of ointment becaused calming is good for burns and ointment is good for really dry skin.

I use Aveeno.... I've tried five other brands and I've found that one to be most effective, in evening out skin tone and it works great if you put it on overnight.
The nuetrogenena is also good for daytime, what I especially liked is that it doesn't give your face that greasy look.

I use Lubriderm and it leaves me skin nice and smooth and with a great shine, but non-greasy. It also has UVA protection, too. My mom uses the Dove cucumber and green tea. She says it leaves her skin very refresh and smooth.
