Cologne or perfume? If you are looking for an inexpensive cologne, I like Chantilly. If you want really great smell that lasts, perfume has a bit of oil in it which heats up on your pulse points. I wear Beautiful by Estee Lauder and get at least a compliment a day on it. Red Door by Elizabeth Arden is also nice if you want something a little stronger and spicier. Good Luck!

Most of the time ladies wear eau de toilette or eau de parfum, rare are the cologne for women..
V Valentino is so Good and Nina, the new fragrance of Nina Ricci is a great fragrance too.
It all depends which family fragrance you prefer :)

she would have to try it on; people's skin chemistry react differently; it may smell great on her, but so-so or awful on someone else....place some on the inner wrist and let it sit for at least 5-10 minutes; you want the entire fragrance to develop, not just what is called the 'top notes' (what you smell when you sniff the bottle)....then she can decide if it suits her or not...
