First of all, you need to stop listening to the ex. Go to the court house and file a motion for visitation to get the ball rolling. The mother can not keep you from your children unless you have been proven unfit. There are many organizations who help fathers in your situation. If you truely want to see your children then you will move heaven and earth to see them. Visit your court house and talk to them, they will assist you on your way. You will be charged a filing fee, but that's such a small price to pay for the love of your children. Never give up and always make the effort to see them. Those children aren't stupid and will understand when they get older who was there for them when they desperately needed guidance. Good luck and GOD bless.

I feel your pain, I am so sorry. Please do a research in the Internet in your area of lawyers, call any of them and tell him what you are saying here. He might know of any other lawyer who could help you and he can give you answers.
I am thinking that the reason that your ex wife gave must be very strong for you to lose the total custody of your kids.
But if the reason that your ex gave are not real, you can appeal because you have rights in those kids to see them. You might like to consult any social service, I am sure they can guide you and help you and you can get into a group support through them.
Try to keep calm, you need to be strong and not to desperate cause you need to have a sharp mind to think and act!
I hope you can get any help and I hope things get solve in your favor too. Good luck

Why have you not filed for visitation rights? Are you paying child support? If not, you'll have to start paying child support. Then you'll have to file for visitation rights. You may need a lawyer to help you through this process. If you have limited funds, try Legal Aid. It's very important that you have a relationship with your children and I hope you will find the courage to fight for your rights!

I would say that it is time for you to step up to the plate. I t is now or never. I understand that your wife might have more money however the courts want to see the children get a fair shale as well. Perhaps you should call legal aide?

I'm sure there are some places to get support for fathers. You need to get it together and get the paperwork done for your kids sake. Don't give up. Call some legal aide places in your area and they may be of help to you. Good Luck and keep trying....it is worth it to see your kids.

You can try anything you like. The courts will always favour the woman. I am in Florida and in exactly the same situation as you. Judges in divorce courts don't care about the facts or the truth. They will just give the woman what she wants.
I don't know your situation, but I am not white and my ex-wife is. And I have seen with my own eyes what a huge difference that makes! Of course, the judge won't say that he favours her because she is white and female while I am a non-white male, but that is how it is. Men have no real rights in divorce cases, in the US.

Found this website "Fathers For Life"

Wow...you sound like a good dad. I am so sorry for your situation.
What you are asking of her isnt unreasonable. Just to be able to see the kids and have some say so in their life.
