I feel the Buckeyes underestimated the speed of the Florida defense and did not prepare a proper game plan. The Gator defense never allowed Ohio St to get into any type of rhythm.offensively. I mean 86 yds of offense and the lowest quarterback rating by a Heisman Trophy winner in a BCS championship game that should last maybe forever. It wasn't luck that's for sure.

Well I think that when Ted Gin Jr. was hurt after the 92 yard punt return it changed the teams game plan. I think that we became desperate as the game continued. If Tressel wouldn't have gone for it on fourth down and just punted then it may have changed the game. I also understand that he was trying to get the team fired up. However the Gators have a great team and didn't get the credit they deserved before the game and proved so many wrong. I am still a Buckeye fan today but that was the worst I have seen Ohio play in a long time. I think that we were to cocky.

In a sense it would probaly come down to both. In practice it isn't the same as a game when the crowd is againt you and in practice you arn't allowed to hit the QB and if I am correct Troy Smith was out for a little while because he got hurt from a blitz. Jim Tressel didn't keep his team conditioned because he thought his team was unstopalble and to me that isn't a coaches job, his job is to make his team the best they can be and then stay like that. That lose was completly Jim Tressels fault. So I do believe that Florida deserved to beat OSU but I think they would be Bosie State to. If you have noticed the WAC MAC and Big East players arn't as big as SEC Big Ten and PAC teams. Take LSU for example, there d-line has guys the are over 6'3" and 300 pounds and Bosie State has d-linemen the are 5-9 and 210 pounds. So if you ask me yes Florida deserves the Championship because of OSU's lack of consintration and being to cocky to practice for the game. But until the game they were not over rated. Gators deserve the Championship hands down...

They underestimated the Florida Gators. Florida played arguably the most brutal schedule in football, and came out with only one loss (and that, on a questionable call).

Right now, the SEC is head and shoulders above any conference in the country.

Too much time off....Nah!, Overrated.....nah! Florida just played better.Ohio State had no answer for Florida's speed. The Buckeyes looked as lethargic and unemotional as Michigan did in the Rose Bowl. No reason for that. But like I said, Florida just wanted it more and showed it.

Neither. Their problem was getting away from what made them successful (strong running against overmatched defensive lines) and panicking after GOING FOR IT on their OWN 29 YARD LINE while being down 10 points near halftime. Had they punted that ball, who knows what might have happened? OSU had Florida overmatched on the line, but STUPIDLY continued to try to pass and allowing Florida to get off the line on blitz/pass rush situations. They forgot one important thing, SPEED KILLS!

The long lay off hurt as well as over confidence. And people who somehow think that the SEC is a better conference then the BIG TEN..explain how Wisconsin smoked Auburn last year and Arkansas this year--so called ranked superior SEC teams. And Penn st. with that Tennessee team...lol.

They were definitely outcoached, outplayed and gave up way too early.
I am a staunch Big 10 fan but somewhat agree that the Big 10 is overrated.
Still, I cried myself to sleep last night.

Frank! Bucko! It's the power and talent of The S.E.C. It's where the men go, to play good Football. The rest of the Nation, fears having to face "Football Heaven".

Fear The SEC speed...I heard that last year....when my Mounties humiliated UGA.

OSU didn't listen to Flava Flav, when he said "Don't Believe the Hype".
