Exhaust from tail pipes?

In the winter when it's cold out, why is it on some cars you can see the exhaust coming out of the tail pipe which looks like smoke but on some cars you can't see anything coming out?

It is caused by the moisture in the exhaust. If you notice while a car is idling you will have a slight bit of water coming out of the exhaust which is a normal byproduct from catalytic system.
