No, it doesn't work. It kills your metabolism and helps destroy your esophagus and stomach lining. If you want to lose weight, eat smart and exercise. It is the only way to get fit and healthy. Don't buy into scams or sick tactics.
If you are still thinking about throwing up, you should really talk to someone about it. Anorexia and Bulimia are diseases that KILL and they need to be treated seriously.

What you are describing is Bulimia Nervosa. Not only is it severely detrimental to your body, but it doesn't work the way some young girls have popularized it. Those affected by Anorexia are generally the ones who we find underweight and malnourished, but those affected by Bulimia are usually a bit bigger and malnourished.
Some of the things Bulimia will do to your body:
-Stomach acid eating away at your teeth, causing them to rot and fall out
-Hair loss
-Yes, you might actually GAIN weight from the swelling to the face and body
-Absence of a monthly period
-Anemia
-Heart problems including irregular heartbeat, low pulse or blood pressure, weakened heart muscles, and heart failure
-Dehydration
-Severe stomach cramps
-Depression
-Throat lesions
-Vomiting blood
-Stomach ulcers
-Death
I hope you aren't letting the opinion of one person in your life making you feel this list is worth it sweetie. The best thing you can do is be proud of who you are. If you feel who you are needs some improvement, try diet and exercise instead of resorting to extremes.
Best of luck. =)

If you start you can end up in the hospital or dead... it is not worth it... believe me... you have acid in your stomach that helps desolve food... you know that burning feeling you get when you throw up.... that is acid... is is eating your esaughagus. This can eventually scar your throat and you will never be the same... you may end up on a feeding tube for the rest of your life. Your period may stop. You may even have a heart attack. And even if you throw up you still have food that remains in your stomach so you aren't losing that much weight. If your boyfriend can't accept you for who you are and not what you look like he should be shown the door. You can find someone better than that... Is he worth killing yourself for?

It is not the way to go, it effects a lot of your bodily functions and severe bulimia can result in infertility. Plus it will rot your teeth. My advise is dump your boyfriend.
If you are carrying weight start exercising and watching what you eat.

First, you need to dump your boyfriend! He has no business making you feel bad about yourself, if he does, he doesn't deserve you! Second, there are SO MANY health risks to what you're doing. There's the obvious ones (addiction, bulimia, etc.) but also, making yourself sick like that can rot your teeth. Dump him and just make sure you're eating healthy and balanced!

Well yes you will lose weight but your body will suffer severe harm. Whenever you throw up you bring up all the food you have digested, including the nutrients contained within the food that your body needs to keep working.
Drink a lot of water (this will restrict your appitite) eat lots of fruit and do exercise. Its the only way to lose weight.
Also think about slapping your boyfriend for being an idiot!

Ignore him! Don't make yourself sick. Do it the healthy way. I have tried everything (I'm 49). Finally the way to lose it is exercise; I go to Curves and eating habits. I lost mine using the weight watchers plan. Of course, keeping it off it the trick. That is why I have to do it over again. Please don't make yourself sick!

Do not do it. No it will not help you. It will cause you to have more problems, bigger then weight issues.
If you want to lose weight, do it the correct way. Each right, don't overeat and get to the gym.
