Have you looked at their requirements for freshmen? Most colleges and universities require a 2 year foreign language minimum. You could take Sign Language online at a community college and put that in your portfolio. Boost your GPA, if you are really interested in going, then knuckle down and be in the above average group, not the average group. Good Luck.

A gpa alone wont get you into a university although some schools have begun entertaining the idea to allow students with 3.0+ to apply without sat scores. And where im from you need 2yrs foreign language. You also have to make sure you have the minimum amount of required credits for high school graduation first and foremost.
