...also what these songs have in common. most of them emphasise deep e-guitar or base sounds, but what does that mean?

by the way, i listed only popular music because, after all, what would some totally unknown title no answerer knows give you? you couldn't draw any conclusions from that.

You would fit into the category of liking Popular music. All the artists you listed are well known performers, and all the songs you listed are for the most part widley known. Remember most people wrongly refer to popular music as a style or sound, for example if you played a Britney spears song for someone and asked them "what genre of music is this" they'd probably say "pop". This is wrong. All that Popular music means is the music that most people listen to or what is popular. In the 1930s swing music played by big bands was what everybody listened to so that would have been considered popular music back then just like fergie is now.
One other thing to note is that if the music you are listening to is not Classical or Jazz than it is considered popular, so for all those label crazy music critics, they should be out of a job.

A varied mix there - very electic. I think you are probably in your 30's (or late 20s) with parents who like the older stuff. You grew up listing to your parents taste but like Robbie, Girls Aloud, Madonna etc. I think you've probably been influenced by others in some of the music you like. I agree with some - far play to you - I like stuff from Erasure - Take That - Robbie Williams - Green Day - Bryan Adams - Bon Jovi ...

It's superb that you are able to like songs of many genres! I'm not sure what it's called other than saying that it is being open to listen and explore all kinds of music. If you tell ppl that you open to listen to all genres as long as the music is good, the more ppl you will be able to connect with

I'd say pop and rock, old and new with more of an emphasis on pop. I wouldn't say all types because there is no classical, jazz, country or indy artist.
By the way you might like Porishaid. They really have there own sound

You're asking to be pigeonholed into a category, and with musical taste like that, you can't be.
Diversity in musical selection is a good thing.

You can say that you´re listening to the radio, so you don´t have a specific music taste.

Just tell them you like good music.
Me, I like everything from classical to hard-core punk, except country and jazz.
