Ok, please only answer this if you have "guppy experience" or really might know what's wrong... Too much at stake for wrong answers - sorry!

My female fancy guppy just gave birth three days ago to 30 fry (yea!). She is probably about a year or so old. Before she gave birth she had no signs of anything wrong or out of shape. Suddenly I noticed that her tail is kind of drooping when she is sitting still. When she swims its fine, she seems to be eating ok, and not really sitting still or going crazy around the tank. No others symptoms. Its like she's in a ( shape.

Could this be from having fry (I hope)? and something that will go away as she heals? I put a little medicine (all purpose that treats a bunch of stuff) in there but does anyone know whats up? or how I can find out more info? Please help, thanks!

No, she isn't about to die. Guppies can live 3-4 years, sometimes more.
If her tail fin is just dropping a little when she stops, she is probably just tired from all the babies she had. You can imagine how much of her energy and body reserves went into those babies - and she may do it again in 20 days! She needs to recuperate, and in the meantime, she is tired and conserving energy.
However, if she permanently in that shape, then she may have a kinked back which is a possible injury in breeding guppy mothers.

If you haven't already, you can also add some aquarium salt to the tank, about 1 flat tbsp per 5 gallons, disolved first in dechlor water, and bump up the temperature to 79-80F. She should be fine :)

Congratulations on the babies!

The moms do not have enough energy to swim and it might of been their first time. your lucky they did not die or get sucked to the filter. But the water levels are okay and the tails are normal because when they sit on the bottom of the tank they will bend their tail. Good Luck i hope your fry live a good strong life.

I think its about to die , cuppies life span is around 1- 2 years, for females having many litters may cause this problem, their back will become bend and after some days, may be 3 or 4 days, they will die.
Wats the size of your fish, iam breeding cuppies for the past 5 years and i know very well about these fishes. If you are in net, pls mail to sshaikfarid2020@yahoo.co.in
