(1) 85 - 100 = -15 ( = -(100-85))

Assuming you mean increases BY X degrees:
(2) -45 + 75 = 30 ( = 75 - 45)

(3) -85 + 135 = 50 = (135 - 85)

Wow. "Do your own homework?" Is that the answer that you provide because you are incapable of calculating the answer? I home school my children. What if I needed help with something trivial like this? Would I get ridiculed as well? The answer to the first one goes like this... it's 85 degrees now...the temperature will drop below 0, so you will have a negative answer. (-15)

1) -15

2) +30 (if it INCREASES 75 degrees--if it increases TO 75 degrees, it will be 75 degrees)

3) +50 (if it INCREASES 135 degrees--if it increases TO 135 degrees, it would obviously BE 135 degrees)

You would have to be a little clearer to determine what you want.

MINUS 15. 25. 220.

Would have liked something a bit harder. Re Q 1. Add in a factor of Windchill of Minus 8. Imagine you are in the shade for 12 hours - then full sun for 12 hours. You drink 6 cups of HOT TEA in 12 hours, followed by 6 cups of COLD WATER in the final 12 hours. Calculate the temp. at each hour - given the facts above.

NOW WORK THAT ONE OUT ????

Oops. I'm sorry. I didn't realize how lazy you really are.
