Sweetheart, i don't know how old you are or how you were brought up, but your husband is right. Most people are having and ENJOYING oral sex. Why do you think that most people don't do it? What has given you that impression? Believe me, and no doubt loads of other answers here, people do do it all the time. Sometimes as an alternative to sex, sometimes as part of the whole experience. Men do it to women, women do it to men and lots of men do it to each other and so do women!

If you really find it totally off-putting then providing he pays attention to personal hygiene, then maybe you should consider going to a sex therapist to see why you don't want to do this perfectly normal sexual act.

Oral sex is really good and what i personally believe is that it gives lot of pleasure to both the parties, but the only thing is that it has to be done in a proper way and both the parties should be clean other wise there are chanches of getting mouth infection, so if you can be more careful then it will be fun.

Actually a lot of people do enjoy oral sex. My husband and I use it as foreplay before sex or sometimes just by itself. When it is my time of the month and cannot have sex, it is a great way to satisfy my husband's needs. It is not a "dirty" or "unclean" as some people say. I doubt very much that it's that high a percentage. Personally I enjoy it but you should not be pressured into doing something you are not comfortable with, sex after all is supposed to be pleasurable for both partners. Maybe you are just scared of what it entails and are embarrassed to talk it through? perhaps you could get a book and read about it and see if there are any aspects of it you are willing to try? I think you would probably surprise yourself with how much enjoyment you could get out of it.
