minitokyo.net has lots of wallpapers... needs registration but it's no problem with you, right? All of the wallpapers are made by fans. There are also scans too. Right now I'm overwhelmed by this site's extensive collection of pictures. good luck for your hunting!

many of the #chan.orgs have people uploading alot of beautiful wallpaper. the best #chan would be www.4chan.org. I get most of my wallpapers from there from now. But be care. the chan.orgs also have pornographic and/or hentai. but theyre in different sections. So just enter the "anime wallpaper" section. plain and simple.

theotaku.com has great anime wallpapers...probably over 5000 there that people who can sign on there made...if you're looking for anything else, they also have manga made by people, fanart (which is kinda bad), quizzes...etc
