i used mop n glow a few times, and now over time the layers of mop n glow have turned brown and my floor looks terrible. I can't seem to find any way to remove the waxy residue of the mop n glow off the floor. i've tried the amonia and all purpose cleaner as the mop n glow bottle suggested with no luck. Any ideas?

Open your windows first cause this is gonna be breath taking (literally). Ammonia is how you remove it, you must not be using the correct strength or letting it sit long enough. You can't just swipe over it with a damp mop and ammonia and expect it to come off. You have to really get the floor soaking wet with a strong ammonia solution and hot water and leave it set for a while to loosen and dissolve the wax. It this does not work get some Johnson's was remover/stripper. Both are strong and fumy you will need to have plenty of fresh air moving through or you might cause harm to yourself.

try a wax remover... also a client of mine used mop n glo on a tile floor. we used a brush and hot water. I had to "scratch" the wax surface and let water soak into it. It still looks pretty bad. I also heard you can use mop n glo to remove old, just pour a puddle on small area, let soak a bit, and see if that works. I always heard like removes like.

You would need a "Floor and Wax Stripper" type of product.

Sorry, I personally do not any recommendations for a particular product.
