I liked the actors very much, and the special effects were wonderful, as well as the cinematography & music. I felt that the editing was really choppy....and the story was broken up to much....to sum it up, I felt like I was only getting bits and pieces of the story...which my daughter who has read & re-read both Eragon and The Eldest confirms....I can't wait to dig in to the books!:)

I am prejudiced, because I love Fantasy movies, and especially Dragons.
It was a wonderful movie, and I can't wait for the 2nd and 3rd chapters (its a trilogy in the books). I was a wee bit disappointed that there was not more action, but then I think we got spoilt by the Lord of the Rings!

If I could only say the same. Maybe I've already seen too much dragon stories before or I wasn't in the right state to enjoy it.
Either way, there'll be a second one I think. It's a really an opened ending. I was expecting the evil king killed however he's still running free till the credits roll. I was like FTW instead of WTF?!

I've seen it, I liked the dragon the best. And the song "Keep Holding On" was the best song in the film. It's really a few chuckles in this film. The fantasy violence is not graphic, thank God.
