Just try to relax and keep your cool. focus on you and what you are saying and not on anybody or anything elce.. i know it's tough but you can do it!! also when you are speaking make sure you take deep breaths.. it always worked for me.

Hi friend,
TRy this.. ensure that there is strong light focusing on you from the bottom of the stage. Such strong lights will give you confidence and you will not be able to see the audience clearly.. thus you will not be afraid. If you perform during the day time then this will not work.. Try rehearsing many times before the show infront of family members.

Also depends on what you are speaking. If the speech is available long before the show, memorize it and always be loud when you speak.. people will appreciate only when they can hear.
If there is no written speech then its difficult. Watch some TV shows on similar topics. Try and copy how they speak

Before you go on stage, put your hands out in front of you and shake them vigorousley for about 25 seconds, then let them fall to your side and remain still until the sensation passes.
When you take the stage, look towards the furtherest person from you, and talk to that person

I find that if I am well-prepared I am less anxious. Know what you want to say and practice it until you can do it smoothly and confidently. Then arrive early and give your self time to get organized before the event and remember that your audience is there to hear you and learn from you. They see you as the expert so know you are prepared and you'll do fine. Good luck. It does get easier the more of them you do.
