What games if any do girls enjoy playing? Obviously theres the obligitory final fantasy, but do they (women) play like gears of war or halo? Whats the most popular female Genre I guess is what I am asking...

Hey Pal, don't talk about girl gamers as if they were a different life form altogether.
Women like different kinds of games, just as us dudes do.
If most of them are casual gamers is because cultural biases. So yeah, some of them like Mario games, but then again some dudes do...
And dont go thinkin most of them like Kitty games, just because they are pink coated. That is just an stereotype. I'm sure they think they are silly as much as we do.

It depends on what females you're talking to. I have friends that play, but they're 20-somethings. When they play, it's GTA, Final Fantasy, Smash Bros Melee, Zelda, the usual popular games. However, there are women they get into the FPS genre. They're just not as common.
I mean you've got to admit that gaming is an industry marketed toward the male demographic. This doesn't mean that they generate all the money, but it does mean they're the reasons female sprites are so busty.

Gee I dont know what girls you all hang with but in my town girls do play Gears of War and Halo!! Girls here are real competitors and guys should watch out because believing that girls only play Barbie or Kingdom Hearts could get you an a.. kicking one day if you play against the wrong girl.

The dance/music games I think are most popular. Any game with interaction beyond sitting with a controller in hand are popular with girls, especially those for the Nintendo Wii. Games with excellent storylines are popular with girls as well, such as the Final Fantasy series and Kingdom Hearts.

I love playing Halo 2 :)(Halo series in all, but 2 for xbox live). I don't really like Gears, I can stand it for my friends and play online with them and be on their team. But there's so many flaws in that damn game it pisses me off; I honostly just like the weapons and glitches mwhaha. I also play a lot of Rainbow Six:Vegas, and Madden <-I bet you don't hear that a lot haha.
Final Fantasy, never really got into that game. I was more into Nintendo classics growing up(Nes,Snes,N64, etc.), and then straight into xbox.
I prefer FPS games though, something with gore, good storyline, and something hard to beat.

Personally I'm into World of Warcraft right now (Can't wait for the expansion Burning Cruisade!) I like Rpgs, mostly. I play FF, KH, Star Ocean, etc, but I also like fluff games and dance games. I LOVE guitar hero and usually kick my brother and boyfriends butts, and they play real guitar! Either way, the point is it depends on the person. Some women like games, like myself and MANY other women, and some don't, which are the one's all the guys who answer this question with some smart *** remark like women only play Barbie games or some crap like that. I just hope that someday guys will take us women gamers seriously.

I love Prince of Persia, Devil May Cry, God of War, Zelda, blah blah blah. I'm not big on shooters because it makes my motion sickness kick in. I love games with puzzles and lots of action. Of course I love Final Fantasy, how could I not? One of my best friends loves Halo. She's gotten me into it, but yet again I can only play it for so long.
But if it's a good game, I'll try it out. Not to mention I can kick most guy's butts in any game you hand me. =D

it won't remember what gender you're,your enjoying a game to have relaxing or relive tension or what ever.i do no longer play online yet from what I even have examine and heard women/women folk get dealt with like crap maximum situations which there is no clarification for.i in my view think of its warm that girls folk/women folk play video games and can desire to be crushed at a game by potential of girls folk/women folk.my ex spouse consistently thought video games are for little youngsters,and she or he replaced into incorrect.i might like as much as now a gamer female/women folk,i think of it may be great.desire this facilitates.shop enjoying and having relaxing.

I love video games. Final Fantasy is my favorite, but I also like God of War, Resident Evil 4, Dark cloud 2, Shadow of the Colossus, ATV Offroad Fury, Madden, NCAA Football, and Mortal Combat. I love all sorts of games. Oh, I also like Ratchet and Clank.

I love Gears of War. I seem to be able to chainsaw no matter what. I also like GRAW, but I don't like Halo, mainly because the people on there take the game WAY too seriously. Chromehounds isn't too bad, the gameplay is just really slow.
Other than those, I like RPG's, such as Lora Croft Tomb Raider.
