I want more lingerie, thongs and such. She thinks I should desire her as is, not for that stuff; I do, but i want that too. I don't think its too much to ask for?

Maybe she doesn't want to dress like a whore.

She's right-you should desire her as is and chances are you do. I am that way myself-so my best advice would be to QUIT BUGGING HER ABOUT IT. IF dressing up like that has even ever remotely crossed her mind, then she would probably like to surprise you by it. If you're secretly trying to prompt her into it, then it'll be YOUR idea and not hers. Tell her what you already like about what she already wears-and maybe you could try an off the wall approach like complimenting how well she decorates the house, the Christmas tree, etc. Maybe she'll make the connection to start decorating herself LOL- if all else fails, take the lead and anti-up on your own wardrobe/looks...maybe she'll take notice and follow suit.

If loving your wife depends upon how she is dressed for bed thenI doubt very much that you love her, or that you ever did. It's not what one wears to bed that should be a turn on in the bedroom but the fact that the two partners desire one another. If all you wanted was a "dress up doll" in the bedroom there are adult stores with blow up dolls to accomodate you, it takes a REAL man to desire a REAL woman and not what she wears in the bedroom.

Boost her confidence. A lot of women don't feel confident wearing lingerie. Buy her what you want to see her in, then tell her how sexy she looks in it. Don't expect her to wear stuff like that every night. Make a special night, light some candles, pour some wine, and she will be more likely to want to dress sexy for you.

Negotiate. Ask her what she'd like you to do if she wears it on X nights a week. There's probably something that she's wanting that you're not doing. That's not saying you're neglectful or anything, but nobody's perfect. Negotiation takes practice, so learn to do it right. Make it fun.

I like what Greg Behrendt once said about the sexy underwear. "It's like wearing a costume for sex."

Consider reading "His Needs, Her Needs". It's a bit of an eye opener about how we tend to show our affection in different ways.

It seems you 2 have talked about it & she took it the wrong way. So heres the new game plan....leave her a note 1 morning telling her to expect a veryyy romantic evening of fantasy and lovemaking. Tell her you cant wait to see what sexy thing she will be wearing for you. Tell her u cant wait to show her what sexy thing YOU will be wearing for her. then get yourself a man thong baby.

I don't think it is too much to ask either, so long as you don't belittle her for not wearing it. It's the whole thing about compromise. If she loves you, she should be willing to wear it for you. If you love her you should be willing to not make her wear it if she doesn't want to. Best spot to meet is in the middle. Maybe every so often she can dress up sexy for you, and you won't bug her about it much.

GIFT!!!! best thing you can do to inspire a woman to dress sexy for you. Buy her something you'd like, but make it sexy-practical, if she isn't really into it.
My X bought me a couple pairs of those lacy boy short undies...I was strictly a thong girl...just less fabric up my butt. But for Christmas one year he went to victoria secret and picked up 2 pairs of the boy shorts and 1 pair of thongs. Who'd of thought!!!! those boy shorts are comfortable as hell. They don't ride up and they are low cut so you can wear low riding jeans. Not to mention those boy shorts are really sexy, especially on women w/ flatter butts because they tend to make your butt look less flat.

buy something for her to wear and tell her how much you want her to wear them. choose an occasion and tell her that each person will buy something that the other person will wear to bed. at least, she won't feel silly being the only one dressing up for bed.

praise her when she wears lingerie. it would boost her confidence. tell her how much you like seeing her in them.

Most of all, give her lots of money to buy them...

She might not feel comfortable in that kind of clothing. Maybe buy her some and constantly tell her how good she looks in it. She might like the boost in confidence and attention and end up buying her own.

Why don't you just go buy her the things that you'd like her to wear, and maybe some flowers and wine to set the mood. She just may shock you with her reaction. Good luck!
