3/4" in decimals has the same decimal value as 3/4 of anything. You take the Numerator (In this example it is 3) and divide it by the Denominator (In this case it is 4).

So 3 divided by 4 = 0.75, in this case 0.75".

But even if it were a pie, what is 3/4 of a pie, 0.75 pie, or also called 75% (of a pie or of an inch).

Whilst 1/4 is .025, 1/2 is 0.50 then 3/4 is 0.75....

I really had to think about it for a sec.....

the answer is 0.75. that is b/c it is 3 quarters of a whole which would be 1.00. hope that helps :)

simple calculation.......take 2 feet in inches
......double it....add1.5 inches.....halve it........then take away 24 inches.........answer...... .75 inch......you can use this calculation in most cases
