Hi
Im thinking of a movie that I saw on TV a few years back. Dont remember much about it but here it goes.

It is the future and there are machines which makes it possible to switch consciousness with other people.

For example: Rich people take the consciousness of "emty bodies" and go skydiving and other dangerous things.

The storyline is something like: The main character changes consciousness but something goes wrong (his body dies or something). The company who make these switches try to cover the whole incident up and theres a bunch of shooting and stuff.

If anyone could figure out what movie this is I would be very grateful.

I'm thinking the plot sounds very similar to the movie "Xchange" with Stephen Baldwin.

Maybe?

Welt am Draht (1973) (TV)Somewhere in the future there is a computer project called Simulacron one of which is able to simulate a full featured reality, when suddenly project leader Henry Vollmer dies. His successor Dr. Fred Stiller experiences odd phenomena. A good friend, Guenther Lause, disappears in the middle of a conversation and a week later nobody has ever heard of him. And those fits of dizzyness - Stiller cannot believe himself to be fool. There has to be an explanation for all this. Could Simulacron have something to do with it?
