well,i have a friend..she's so talented in acting.. she's half chinese and half american.. and she'll begin her carrier in hollywood.. can she as popular as another actresses like halle berry or uma thurman?

yes they can!! hollywood door are open to anyone. i know when u watch hollywood movies its always black and white ppl and even if their are asians,indians and latinos in a hollywood movies they play a sterotype charater in the movies. i hope ur friend makes it and she can represent for chinese. well luicy lui is asian and look how men love her

Sure, why not? That's silly. I would recommend that she starts by doing theatre and taking some acting classes than just packing up and heading to Hollywood like a million other people. It is doubtful she'll ever be as big as someone like Halle or Uma though. If she is truly talented then she shouldn't give up the dream. And there are some big name Asian American actresses like Lucy Liu!

Hollywood didn't used to accept black actresses/actors for many years but things change - Halle Berry won an oscar. The same can/has happened for the chinese community, Lucy Liu (as others have said) being a good example, although one of relatively few. Good luck to your mate!
