Try TK Maxx. They have loads of evening dresses and if you are prepared to spend time looking through their stuff, you can pick up a class designer bargain. A lot of these are reduced in price now too, as the traditional 'party' period is over.

Have you tried Debenhams? They have a good range at reasonable prices. Have a little shifty round on their website as they have some good stuff in the sale at the minute.

You may be suprised what you can find at second hand shops! We bought one for my daughter "just because" at her last birthday because we find them all over, really pretty and really cheap!
