USC should be ahead of LSU, Michigan was a higher ranked team and LSU blew out a team both USC and Michigan did so what's the big deal.

Well, I know the Gators have to be #1 because they won the BCS Championship game and they prolly deserve it. Trouncing Ohio State was definitely unexpected. But, their victory brings up the worse case scenerio for the BCS....how can the only undefeated team be #5??? We all realize now that the BCS is totally biased and favors the major confernces like Big Ten, Pac Ten, and SEC. If I were Boise State and WAC I would be petition the NCAA for a playoff system. This proves, again, that you cannot get a fair shot unless you are in the majors.

The rest of the rankings are uneventful. I would wonder how Penn State ended up behind Tenessee since they beat them in their Bowl Game. I guess the sports writers were not watching that game either.

Based strictly on records, Boise State should be number 1. Looking at how teams played over the season and in the final games and ignoring overall records

1. Florida
2. USC
3. Boise State
4. Ohio State
5. LSU

After that I am not sure, except Michigan should be ranked ahead of Wisconsin since since Wisconsin's only loss was to Michigan.

i would rank Boise state higher due to the fact that they were undefeated and deserve a higher rank for that reason alone. and as far as osu and Mich though they had a great years , there is a lot they can learn from the SEC TEAMS, especially Michigan seem that fast is the way to have a good team. i was really disappointed on their play in such big arenas , not just once but twice. from best defense to no defense terrible just plain terrible

I'm a Buckeye fan, and I don't know how OSU is still #2. I would put at least LSU and USC in front of them, just based on the bowl performances. Maybe even Wisconsin and Boise State.

As long as OSU is in the top 5. I expected it to be a closer game
than a wipe out. Go Bucks!!! No.2 is not a bad spot.
