Accounting Dissertation help!!?

I'm currently in the stage of thinking for ideas for my final year dissertation. I'm studying accounting so it needs to be accounting or financial based. I have a handful of ideas however non of them seem to be what i'm looking for.

Anybody postgrads out there who could help?

I didn't do Accounting at Uni but am in the middle of my CIMA qualification now. A few subjects that you might consider include:

Benchmarking
Performance Management
Challenge of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance in wake of the imminent threat of foreign ownership
Enterprise Security

These aren't typical topics, but there is tons you can write about them and loads of information out there. Good luck!
