If it is a first edition and in good condition and you do decide to try an antiquarian and used book auction, here is a list of good list of on line possibilities:

Since I don't know where you live, can't give you advice on a specific auction near you.

take it to an auction house,to have it valued.it will depend on age, condition,if it is a ltd,or first edition, and if it is complete.just because it is old, doesnt necessarily mean it is valuable.find your nearert auctioneers ,and ask if you can have it appraised, youve got nothing to lose,& you might have a nice suprise.good luck!

Take it to a auctioneer, they would have a good idea of how much it is worth!
