Im an Indian student who is hoping to be a doctor (surgeon) later in life..what i would like to know is that :Is there any scope for Indian Doctors abroad in the US or UK??

I don't know about the US or UK....but in Canada I have many colleagues who are of East Indian / Pakistani extraction....and they do well... in fact the Chief of Surgery in one of the hospitals I work in is Dr. Patel ...a well respected and very able surgeon. The problem for immigrant physicians/surgeons is to be licenced here...which can take a lot of time....but once that hurdle is overcome there are no problems.

Indians are lions at home and beggars overseas.So decide what you want to be.
