I dont think he is the best player, but maybe he is the best defender. He plays and defends the ball really good... He is no doubt a great player!
But not the best.... I like Kaka' best

but in 2006, i think cannavaro was the best! ronaldinho didn't do so well, and messi still has to wait several years..

he was one of the best players in the world cup but
i think deco is the best in europe and is in my opinion
an under rated player.

cannavaro is the best defender in the world right now..
i dont think any defender can play like him.. he play so calm, wit the right attitude, good leadership...
the only thing is he playing for real madrid, team that play not consistent..
my opinion, he should play for big serie a team such as acmilan
or roma.. inter??
