In a game room why does the font text go small like a size 8 and the print on screen of rooms open small?

Probably becuse that is the size the designer decided to use on the site.

You can try increasing the text size by holding down the ctrl key and turning your mouse's scroll wheel. That will increase and decrease the size of text when in Internet Explorer.
