Absolutley no, the bed is ours. Their dander can cause allergies and then you can't sleep. They have a nice fluffy lamb's wool bed of their own or the couch. When you let an animal take over your bed he will be a bully and do whatever he pleases and then you will really have a problem on your hands.

Yes, I have a little pug and she sleeps at the end of my bed. She has her own pillow and blanket. If its a big dog then no only because they would take up way too much room.

I have 3 cats sleeping with me in my smooth and soft bed! I'm more comfortable sleeping with them not with other people especially with the opposite sex

Nope. Its disgusting.
Dogs especially are dirty animals, and should sleep in their own bed.
Also - dogs are pack animals and they need to be shown where they are in the family hierarchy. Over familiarity breeds contempt.
