No.
There are translation sites where you can type in a phrase or sentence, and it will translate to another language. But you would then have to copy/paste the sentence into your e-mail. Try http://babelfish.com (And no, you do not have to insert the fish into your ear)
However, such translations are usually very poor. I would not use them for anything important, or more than two or three sentences long. The grammar is usually bad (it does the translation word for word, and word order is very different between different languages). They also have very limited volcabulary.
But you can try the sites. If nothing else, you may give the person get the message on good laught. (I have one translated into the German that ended up saying that I was an ice cream cone.)

No, but there are programs which will translate English phrases to French. They tend not to be very accurate, for anything other than single words or simple phrases, however.
An example is Yahoo Babel Fish (named after a translation device in the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy).

That translated my first paragraph above to: "Le non, mais là sont des programmes qui traduiront des expressions anglaises au Français. Elles tendent à ne pas être très précises, pour n'importe quoi autre que des mots simples ou des expressions simples, cependant.
Which is not perfect but would be understandable to a French speaker.

That isn't possible, but try a free translater, or buy one because they are more accurate. Or type it up in Microsoft Word first and there are translater tools there.
