google e mail is available by invitation only, From a person who has go ogle account. I can invite 50 persons to open an account in google e mail. I can invite, provided you send me e mail from your present e mail address, Ask Yahoo if it allows you to send me an e mail

you might need someone that has the google email account to send you the invitation. That's the only way that you can get the gmail account. A gmail account has only 100 invitations but that should be enough for the regular user.

If you want to open a Google account, you can do so by going to google.com and signing up. But if you want a GMail account you'll need an invite from a GMail user. If you've got friends with GMail accounts, ask them to send you an invite.

You can now sign up for Gmail, Google's e-mail, without being referred by another user. Simply visit gmail.com or mail.google.com and under the login for current users there is a link to sign up.
