Remove your power source chord and look at the bottom. You should see the battery on the bottom. It should be fully charged. If not, time to buy a new battery. It could also be program issues.Try rebooting the laptop to the starting point like you first bought it. It could be a virus. If those don't work, take it into a specialist.Check the yellow pages or google it.

Hey
Well my guess are that your battery has burned (dead forever) or it is not charged or there is another thing try this. The steps are below:
-Go to your desktop (when you turn on your computer where the icons load at the beginning)
-Right click the desktop then properties
-When the window with options load go to screen saver on the tab of the widow that you opened
-And down check for POWER
-And click it
-When another window opens
-Look for power schemes
-In the power schemes select always on
-then click apply and
-press ok
-@@@@END@@@@
The steps above will help you if your problem is if it is auto shut downing

Well thats all i know!!
Good Luck!!

Totally agree with Flipsaint, there should be a problem of Battery, your bettery is not being charged fully, no matter it might show you fully charged but actually the connector of batters are not okay, what i guess.

Second possible reason might be problem with RAM Slot. Remove RAM once and insert them again and switch on again. It might solve the problem.

Hi..

If you cannot power it up straightaway after a sudden power loss, this indicates overheat problem. Check and clean fans and air vents. Best it to use pressurised air spray designed for this job.

Otherwise, check battery connection with the system and/or AC connector.
