Hi, to give some background, I'm currently 17 (nearly 18), weigh about 70kgs, and am around 5'11 or so.

When I was about 15 I fell into a downward spiral of drug abuse and smoking. Pot and chemical drugs were my main abuses for about a year. I stopped doing drugs completely slightly before my 17th birthday, so actually, a year now. However, it seems the days of euphoria have taken their toll upon me. I have difficulty sustaining a proper erection (max about 80%??) and keeping hard for a 'desirable' period of time. I truly believe this is a side-effect of my previous indiscretions. Would anybody have any advice for me about what to do? I've started to exercise regularly in the hope of getting a bit fitter.. I eat pretty well too so my health is OK.. could be better but OK.

Any suggestions/thoughts in regard to this rather embarrassing predicament would be much appreciated. I'm a bit reluctant to go to the doctor about it..

Way to go for stopping the drugs and smoking!!! Congratulations.

I'm not sure what country you are in, but check your phone books for free anonymous clinics. You might even be able to talk with someone on the phone anonymously about your situation.

Good luck.

I don't know which country you are in, but there are both public and private clinics for this.

Look up health in your local phone directory and make an appointment. Everything is kept confidential and there will be a man to help.

Usually a first consultation is free anyway.
