Does it affect the way you view a particular artist if they are (or are not) accepted for inclusion? Why or why not?

For an artist to get inducted, it's more politics than anything, so no, it doesn't affect the way I view them, although I think that every artist that's in the rock hall deserves to be there.

No, not at all. It's a joke. The inductors completely ignore a whole genre of rock (progressive, or "prog"), and instead induct garbage like the Pretenders and Patti Smith. Also, how did Miles Davis get in there? What does he have to do with rock?
