I have no sign of it coming (no pains),I also had a pinkish discharge 4 days ago for a day or so. We are ttc but didnt really try last month, looking back at my dates i thought we had sex either too early or too late. Could i have concieved meaning i ovulated early or late? As you can tell im a little confused. I am planning on taking a test in the morning, but im wondering if this has happened to anyone else and they've found out they are pregnant. Thanks

I disagree with kissybertha. A normal cycle is usually around 28-35 days but can go up to 44. Any doctor will tell you this. I myself have cycles of around 35 days. I use 'My monthly cycles' to help with my ovulation dates. Do not panic, though with our cycles being a bit longer, doctors dont see it as unusuall if a cycle goes up to 44 days, so bear this in mind.

The above answer is rubbish. An AVERAGE woman has a cycle of 28 days but it is toally normal to have a 28-35 day plus cycle and conceive naturally. Being able to conceive is about making love around ovulation, and ovulation occurs later for some woman than others and can even be different between cycles for the same woman. Hence the 20% chance of conception every month!! The difficulty is know when you ovulate and it is all down to timing!!
The leuteal stage (between ovulation and next period) is normally between 12- 14 days for most woman and this tends to be more consistent. So once you know when you are ovulating it is easier to work out expected start of you nex period.
Please don't feel abnormal with your cycle length, it is totally within normal limits!!!
Also don't panic if the test is negative tomorrow it can take a while for the pregnancy hormone to reach sufficent levels to be detected on a urine test., even up to 2 weeks.
I know the wait is horrible i am in my two week wait too.
Best of luck and let us know how you get on.

bex, theres always hope,my cycle has been inconsistent, used to be 35 days but has been shorter lately-around 26 days, sperm can live up to 4 days so the "too early "thing may have worked in your favour-as it did with me last time,i knew when i should be ovulating had sex the night before then not for 2 days-duh-but was pregnant anyway!
its maybe that you got implantation bleeding-the pink discharge-as i had with my first, but it is early days so dont count your chickens just yet,try to wait till you are a bit later-can you hold out til the w-end?or at least dont be hugely shocked if its negative as the potential for a positive is there at the w-end if your period doesnt come and the hormones get stronger!
crossing my fingers for you x

Here is how to get pregnant if you are tying to. how to get pregnant hope it helps. You get pregnant when you ovulate ovulation last five days. How to tell when you are ovulating. lets look at an egg ok. not the yoke but the white part ok when you start to have a discharge the color like the white part, you will ovulate five days that is when your egg is travelling down the follopin tubes and you can get preganant ok. but when the time comes of ovulation and you have sex with in thous five days the sperm has to connect with the egg. if it does you are pregnant.

Your cycle is not correct the fertility specialist my wife and I see (a very good one in Philly area) said that 28 days is correct not more not less for conceiving. You should talk to the OB/GYN to see if there is a way to make you closer to 28. My wife is taking clomid for the first time this month hoping that it willmake it easier for us to conceive.

if your cycle is 32-36 days then you have a hormone imbalance, a normal cycle is 28 days you need to see a OBGYN if you want to regulate your cycle. with a cycle that far off you could have gottten pregnant because you don't know when you ovulated.

I'd wait another couple of days to test...use first morning urine as its the most concentrated.
