I use a mask once a week...usually on a weekend. Masks, the ones you buy in a cosmetics shop can tend to dry out the skin, so use should be limited. However, homemade masks may be better. Facial scrubs, depending on the type, typically are recommended for daily use on the tube. But I still tend to limit use to about once every 2 weeks or so, because the skin is sensitive and all that scrubbing cannot be good for it. Cucumber masks are great for freshening the skin. Puree a cucumber and make a paste and apply it. Let it dry. It is fabulous. Oatmeal and honey masks are good too.

Use it once a week , it's the best for not exhausting ur skin..
On the other hand , There are some scrubs for daily use, like this daily scrub from Neutrogina..
Want a mast from Nature product ?
since U didn't mention Ur skin type, this one is almost useful for all skin types.. it's hydrating:

Once or twice a week should be sufficient.Use the scrub first. After that follow this routine
Cleanse
Use water-soluble emulsions (creams) or gels with tepid (not hot) water or wipe- off lotions. If your skin is oily. use pH-balanced soap-free bars. Splash your face with water - it will instantly give your skin a better tone.
Tone
If you want to tone, buy alcohol-free toner or use rosewater to freshen your skin. If your skin is dry and you have been using toner. Stop and it will instantly improve.
Moisturize
Ideally, use water-based creams and emulsions; if your skin frequently breaks lighter, oil-free moisturizer.
Exfoliate
Do this once a week only. Too much buffing will over stimulate and irritate your skin. Fine-grained exfoliators remove dead skin cells and instantly soften your skin.
Mask
Simple mud and clay based mask are messy but are the most effective. Rich cold creams make a good mask for dry as well as sun - exposed skin : smother your skin with the cream, let the skin absorb as much of the cream as possible and wipe-off the excess with a soft tissue.

I think that once a month is good enough to maintain a healthy complexion. I am not a skin care professional nor am I a dermathologist, however, I know for a fact that too much exfoliants in your skin may lead to premature aging and wrinkles.
So yes, once a month should be good enough.
