No. They say what they think you want to hear and once elected go back on their word. The first 100 hours is passing and everything thus far has turned out to be a lie.
No true conviction with MOST politicians. Fortunately we do have some ethical representatives and I thank God for them.

Depends on the politician. In India, most of the politicians make big promises just to get votes even if those are far beyond their efficiency. And then, when they get what they want, they forget everything.

They do mean what they say but only at the time of elections or when they need the support of the public to support their party. In short we can say that the government of our country is MEAN & CORRUPT n there is nobody who can solve this except WE -THE PEOPLE OF THE COUNTRY
