I believe it was justice, but justice that we Americans had no business carrying out. He certainly was a cruel person, and did have it coming, but I believe the Iraqi people should have done this themselves, after the U.S. is out of Iraq, with no outside influence.

the British gov will not deport 3 or 4 blokes from Africa that helped kill 800,000 people because they could face the death penalty.
We will only deport them if life imprisonment is agreed by their government as part of the extradition.

Life is what he should of got.

Now he is a martyr. Not a smart move. Now people are happy he has his 40 virgins and out of the hands of the 'infidels'.

I don't agree with what Saddam had done, but it did look like a hanging was not one a Dictator should get.

After he killed over 180,000 Kurds and tens of thousands of those other than from his faith, I would say it was vengence.

What would you do to someone who had deliberately murdered members of your family?
Lets all get down off our high horses and admit we would have done the same.
I don't know whether the baiting was justified but I dont think any of the people reading this have had their families tortured or murdered so who are we to judge?

JUSTICE. Hanging was too kind. He should have suffered a LONG and PROTRACTED DEATH. Just as he made others suffer, so he too should have sufferd. Hr should have been left suspended in a cage, with NO food or water - taunted by the public - until DEAD.

It was a planned, political and victimized murder. God bless him with HIS mercy and forgiveness. These are no only Iraqis who murdered him, US and UK are both equally responsible for victimizing and murdering him.
