how can i host a website from my own computer? pls help me. i tried using apache but i don't know a thing about how to use it. can anyone please help me with any free program which is easier to use than apache or if its ok to you pls teach me how to use apache because it is the best server i think. i tried reading all the manuals about apache i can but I CAN'T HOST STILL!! I almost spend 10 hours a day trying to discover how to use apache but all efforts are in vain. please help me. i would appreciate any kind of help. thank you very much

You can download a utility called wamp. Its url is http://www.wampserver.com/en/
It will automatically setup mysql, php and apache for you. You can then start.

internet information service
which is easier to be configured and executed...
you can host your home pc as the server..
lots of tutorials are availble on net..
search for it and do it
