I would have helped you but i need to know exactly what you do!!!!!!!

You can get books from libraries about business letters, or go on-line and search business letter and it will show you the different types!

But it should go a bit like this

Dear sirs,

We are pleased to inform you that we will be launching our new Courier service in town (______company name_________). We would appreciate working with you in the near future, and provide you with the service that fits your needs.

*desicribe the nature of your service and what you do how you do what you do!
*provide coupons or discounts if possible
*and very important, good contact details.

Then

Best regards,

XYZ

*good luck

A leaflet will be effective media to inform a new business.

It can be start with “New Arrival In the Town”. With a logo of mail, letter, parcel box, is as per your choice. Then stating the requirements of client and how this new currier service will be able to make fulfill these requirements.

Adding a special service, like 24 hours service or whatever match with the availability will be a catcher to prompt to read the leaflet. Good luck.

Instead of a letter, a more effective communication tool might be a full color postcard. They are cheaper to mail and will grab attention over a letter that will probably just get tossed before it's even opened. When you consider how much mail a company gets on any given day, you'll see that direct mail is not always the most effective medium. Target you mailings to the companies and industries most likely to use your service rather than just mailing randomly hoping for a customer.

no wonder no one has responded to this question! Punkassbitch - how about illiterateassfool! Ebonics may be cute in some circles, but you've got a lot of growing up to do if you think someone is going to take you seriously writing a business letter in ebonics.
