be clear abt the defination of economics! dont answer "prayer"! u use up ur time in that...and time is scarce RESOURCE...and economics is about unlimited wants and scarce resources!! similarly...dont say "sleep" becoz, it gives u contentment, hapiness and satisfaction and again...economcs is abt satisfying ur needs and gaining contentment!

OK lazy guy. First, you have to understand the meaning of the word Economics. The epistemology (science that studies the nature and scope of knowledge and belief) says that the word "economics" derivates from the Greek words οἶκος [oikos], meaning "house, temple, hall, camp, nest" and νόμος [nomos], or "custom, law, convention" and hence literally means "rules of the household". Then, economic analysis focuses on decision making, and has been applied to various fields where people are faced with alternatives – education, marriage, health, law, crime, war, and religion.
An extreme example is your soul. It’s not a tradable good, but it satisfies your need for spiritual realization. Being time a scarce resource, when you use your time to satisfy that need, you made a allocational choice. This is, you chose not to use that same time, in other activities, such as work, because that results in a greater satisfaction for you. As so economics it’s related to all human (or group) activity.
