I've been watching 'Girls of the Playboy Mansion' on Sky recently, and I'm completely confused and fascinated as to how it all works. Do the girls get paid a salary to be there or just get a life of luxury in return? Do you think they really do love Hef as they say they do? And what happens when he wants younger models again? Does he fire the girls when he's bored of them?

I think that they get a monthly allowance (a pretty hefty sum of money for what they do), but it's not considered a salary. Plus, they have an early curfew so they can't go out and party all night. They have to be home for Hef in case he needs them. I think Holly may love Hef, but the other two enjoy the lifestyle more than they enjoy Hef.

I think they get paid and gifts. They also get to meet a lot of very rich people and sometimes, they leave Hef and move on with their new friends.
Sometimes they do things for Playboy - like a photo shoot, are in movies (Scary Movie?), etc.
On one of the shows, one of the girls (don't remember which one) said some of the girls were leaving and the ones staying - picked out somebody they thought would fit in & that Hef would like. Once Hef agreed, the new girl moved in.
I would think, Hef can fired any of them at any time - if they don't keep him happy.

Me and my husband had this conversation the other day! I would imagine the girls are required to sign some sort of pre nup so they dont turn round and demand all his cash when he dumps them for a younger model. The deal must be sweet because all of hughs ex's always come for the partys and there seems to be no hard feelings. And as someone else said they dont get a salary as such off of him but they get modeling, guest appearance work etc and incredibly lavish gifts, geez even the dogs get gifts worth more than all my stuff!

I think they're employed as models and hostesses at various playboy clubs around the world, and just spend time there as a luxurious holiday. I don't know whether they are required to sleep with him (what would happen if they refused? I don't know) but I understand that he is very generous with gifts of cars and jewellery so I guess they just shut their eyes and think of Tiffany and Cartier!
That guy is living every man's fantasy!

I don't think they get paid but they are given opportunities to work using the Playboy name etc etc. As to whether they get sacked when he's bored, well I think they must do as loads of hos previous girls are now married and have kids...such hard lives these air heads live

I was having the exact same conversation last night. What I don't understand is the whole concept of them being his girlfriends. I mean, it's obvious that Holly's the favourite, and it seems to suggest that they sleep together, but as Kendra and Bridget are also his "girlfriends," does he sleep with them too.
It's a strange situation to be in.

i heard that they do get paid a salary but i'm not sure how much. i do know if hef dies and hes still together with them bridget and kendra will get $500,000 and Holly will get 3 milllion dollars.
