im worried that i wont be able to carry my baby and what will happen later on in the pregnancy if i cant carry the baby. please if anyone has been through this or knows alot about it please let me no as i am really down lately as i am so worried because of my bicornail uterus. i have really got my self worked up ive made myself think ill never be able to have children. please help!!!

It depends on the type. Some women with a bicornuate uterus can carry a baby all the way to term (although you will need a c-section). It also depends on where the embryo implants. If the embryo implants on the septum that divides the two halves, then it has a less likely chance of being viable because of decreased blood supply to that area. If it implants on the outer wall of the uterus however, there is no reason not to have a normal pregnancy. You may experience first-trimester loss once or twice, but it's entirely possible to have a full-term pregnancy. This is true for most of the bicornuate variations, however I don't know specifically which type you have, so you might want to have a chat with your MD.

possibly, but definently not to full term... if a fertilized egg was implanted into her fallopian tubes.. it could grow.. but could be tragic to the mother/baby. Even if the woman didnt have a uterus and got invitro to have the fertilized eggs implanted into her fallopian tubes.. idk if any doctor would ever do that though... But naturally, no she couldnt..
