1. It's an old film 70s or 80s. There is one scene where a girl gets up from bed at night and gets trapped in some spider webs in the doorway of her bedroom.
Thee is also a scene where a guy with a shotgun tries to fight a big spider (as big a car) outside but gets eaten (eaten through the spider's belly i think).
2. What's the name of the film about a guy who get fight training and can do wierd things like burrow through sand heaps on the beach?
There is a scene where the guy is chased and manages to walk over a wet cement pit. They guy(s) chasing him trys the same but ends up sinking in it.

The first one is 8 - legged Freaks. It isn't Arachnophobia - which deals with much smaller (but deadly) spiders - whereas the one I mention has mutated large spiders - big enough to trap a girl in their webs

No clue about the first one but number two is definitely Remo:Unarmed and Dangerous (AKA Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins). It had Kate 'Captain Janeway' Mulgrew in it as an army officer with 'nice buttons'.
