yes in a way, becuase I don't believe that a male and a female who have been romanticaly involved before can then be friends after, there will always be something there maybe.
I wouldn't like it if a b-friend still kept in contact with his ex girlfriend. I don't know, I guess ask yourself the same question.
If my boyfriend asked me not see my ex boyfriend i wouldn't anymore out of respect for my new boyfriend.

Depends on the situation/the reason for splitting up/whether there was still feelings involved etc.
I dont keep in touch with my last long term ex (I have a boyfriend) theres no need. He wanted to stay in touch, whereas I saw it as he was in the past, and had nothing left to say to him.
If my boyfriend now decided to get in touch with his last ex I'd be annoyed. Theres no reason for them to still talk, innocent or not. They split on fairly bad terms, nearly 2 years ago, so I wouldnt be happy about it.
Although he sees his first long term ex (they have a daughter together) so thats fine by me, I know thats innocent/theres a reason

An ex of 16 years ago lives below us. He is an uncle to my little girl so to speak. He comes and visits on sunday evenings and we all have dinner together. My partner don't mind.

me and my ex tried to stay in touch, but it was always me contacting him and making the effort and in the end i got bored of always being the one making the effort (annoyed the hell out of me when we were together) needless to say we haven't spoke for over a year. My current boyfriend still speaks to his ex but they have a child together and it does bug me that we have to tell her if we are going away or planning anything together

if they kept it secret, i would think there would be a reason to suspect. a recent ex might bother me, but it´s been a long time, i don´t think i would care.
